Learn more about our team approach.
Women are interested in leadership. The Simmons School of Management in Boston, MA and Hewlett Packard surveyed professional women about their views of power and leadership. It was found that “85% of women of colour and 75% of white women aspire to be influential leaders”. They also reported that women want to make a positive and constructive contribution to organizations, communities and society. In doing so women are redefining what leadership is about. They are more interested in models of leadership that are more collaborative and inclusive versus individualistic and hierarchical. They want to expand power through others rather than power over others.
